People I know ask me every now and then why am I working so hard and investing so much time and energy into stuff somehow related to my job.

Besides the knowledge gain, the answer is really, really simple: I have joined the party at least 10 years too late.

So yeah, I kind of have to catch up because the clock isn’t ticking to my advantage. I made some choices in the past which led me to where I am today, late to the party.

Were all of them the right choices? Probably not but surely they seemed to be at the time. Do I regret them? While I do regret some, I just don’t focus on them, but rather on not repeating any of them. Every single choice I made in my life, good and bad, shaped the individual that I am today.
