It’s been a while since I last posted something. Besides being quite busy, it’s been so hot that I could barely find the energy to keep breathing.

The truth is I’m not a fan of summers. I hate being sweaty all the time. In fact, I don’t like much about summer. I like any other season but the summer. During the winter you can always add another layer if you’re feeling cold, but during the summer what else are you going to take off once naked? That’s one of the reasons 99.9% of the times I take sea side holidays off season. Another one is summer destinations tend to be less crowded off season and cheaper, of course.

Now that I’ve got my fair share of complaining, it’s time to move on.

I’m almost done with The TCP/IP Guide and the Network Warrior. I’m a bit behind the schedule with my CCNP-ENCOR study, but I believe taking the exam at the end of September is still doable.

I recently got my first vinyls so I’m even more excited to move to our own place so I could buy myself a turntable. This reminds me of a funny story in secondary school. A classmate told me one day he’s got a computer (keep in mind we’re talking ’00-’01 Romania so it was quite a big deal at the time) only to later tell me he’s actually got a keyboard and a mouse and the PC was about to be bought. That’s me right now: I’ve got myself the vinyls, I only need something to play them on, lol!
